Hey everyone or no-one whichever suits. It has been a while what have i been doing? College, Playing Black ops on the wii and being sick.
Of late i have not been able to afford any new video games so i am relying on lends from my friends one of the most recent being L.A NOIRE....
So I will start my return by reviewing this game.

THE REVIEW
Where to start and where to end hmmmm...........
Well lets just say it WILL not appeal to all Rockstar fans and that is a certain. I even found I had to bully myself into picking it up and keep playing it. It is more like a movie than any game I have played and as we know detective films are not jam packed with action but contain loads of dialogue and so does this game.
Every single case contains questioning multiple witnesses finding multiple clues. It can get very boring and painfully slow. But there is fun in it if you play it sparingly and not just try complete it as quick as you can like alot of gamers do, Me being one of those. There is fun action sequences aswel using the same shooting mechanics as the masterpiece that is Red Dead Redemption but it just doesn give you the same freedom. For those of you looking to go cause murder and destruction like you have done in all the Rockstar games that have passed you will be sad to hear that no you cannot. You do not get the option to take out youre gun out whenever you want so that pooped on my party.
Over all a well created, grown up game for the morally rightheous and correct but not one for people who want oodles and oodles of fun shootin shit up.
Good never the less i give it a 7/10

YO PEOPLE
Let me just lay it down straight the past month has been the cold wind in the storm of games that is about to hit your consoles. We have had CODXP and Halo Fest both of which are the heavy hitters used to being mentioned alongside game of the year so i will start by listing any information i think you should hear.

HALO FEST
Held no real details to what everyone wanted to hear about and that is Halo 4 but then again if youu think about it, We are not going to get our thumbs on it until next year 2012 when the world ends and by then quite frankly i will have nothing to live for because i will have played my fill of the beautiful masterpieces that i will have played this year. Now on Halo Anniversary there is nothing to really tell we know it all already its Halo 1 with the reach Engine and new Reach maps. We already know there will be skulls, That there is a classic mode and about the title update so yeah thanks Microsoft for being douches and not giving us something to fill our bellys until then. CODXP
Are you like me stuck at home wishing you could have gone sitting in a dark room watching every single clip mentioning CODXP? Yes? thought so.Where you also like me and a bit disappointed? I'm going to quote a troll in my next sentence " Cool Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2.5 DLC" And i am not going to troll but it seems a correct statement there is little if any improvement to the graphics engine :-/ just some minor tweaks like having your points come up in green instead of yellow, and some new guns, killstreaks and maps. I know there is also some new interesting features but really? i was expecting better graphics. With that said however i loved MW2 and I am going to play the shit out of this want to know why cause black ops is fucking shit and Trey Arch Suck hairy monkey balls and i love Hit Detection that works :)

TODAY IS MOVIE DAY
I had a busy weekend mmmhmmm not much gaming news but a lot of movie reviews. Oh yeah and I'm a poet but i don't know it.
 BLITZ
So the first movie i seen this weekend was Blitz, Jason Stathams new ass kicking film. Also known as the today's Chuck Norris. First opinions are that it is not as action packed as the ads may seem but still on a new level compared to the poo that was The Mechanic. I wont go into detail and ruin the plot but the villian is great Jason is funny and as hard ass as ever so you get a good man film that will make you feel cool and fufilled. Worth a rent.
Attack The Block

First and foremost i began this film skeptical of the films budget thinking that they would show as little of the monsters as possible to save budget but i was wrong you see a lot of the animals and it is just the way i like it. An imaginative and fresh film built with solid new young actors the main character of whom you just feel is cool to the core. All in all a good film like if you crossed Kidulthood with well i dont know what but just watch it :D

Fright Night

Finally a fresh film that brings vampires back from the pages of romantic emo fantasy's to what they truly are monsters. The best vampire representation since 30 Days of Night. This re invigoration is all thanks to the wonders of Colin Farrel you spend a lot of the film in awe of him and how cool he is with a capital K.As with most cinema these days however it is a tad readable finding yourself seeing the scares coming and seeing where tho plot is going. But still a good film and another badge on Colin's chest.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes

 I personally went into this film not expecting much half because of the ridiculously long title and the failures of the past. But boy was i wrong. I enjoyed every single second of it and i want more! The CG was absolute perfection finding yourself believing its real monkeys in parts certainly worth the budget spent.

To the point where i actually felt emotion building and tears coming at Ceasars down points. Ceasars character was executed perfectly and i doubt there is a person in the audience who didn't become attached to him wanting him to succeed. All i will say is watch this a great film with great storytelling great CG great action. A seat sticker with real punch that makes you look at humanity and think what are we putting our distant relatives through today.

So YEAH THATS COOL BUT WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING

What am i playing? I my dear friends am beating crooks senseless in none other than 

Batman: Arkham Asylum

And what am i doing extremely fucking enjoying it.

It is long and fruitful and i am only half way through by my estimation but i will have more on this when im finished it. Thanks for reading.

Howdie everyone Mash3r back again for some more news and general positivity. I'm so psyched today as i just received a letter to say i got my college course after all. Its a Film & Television course and i am pumped and nervous. Anyway back to business today Epic Games released the Dust to Dust gears of war trailer and it is pretty beast. As always they picked the perfect sombre music to set the tone and it works brilliantly.

And while I'm on the gears point has anyone noticed the lack of Baird in the promos and stuff I'm getting worried because he is my favorite character hmmmm only speculation but I'm getting the feeling he will die in the prologue of the new title but anyway Marcus is more than a good enough protagonist to keep me going.
And has anybody witnessed the bad ass screenshots of the new carmine and when i say bad ass I mean fudgin Beast Clayton Carmine Safe to say he is gonna fuck shit up. And i am going to enjoy every gore filled second of it.

The next topic i want to talk about is is of course dead island. And for your viewing pleasure i have the IGN preveiw of the reveiw which i know they are not the most reliable reveiwers buts it all we got to sit on right now.

And even from this little tidbit it has blown away all my worrys in the simple statement its "FALLOUT WITH ZOMBIES" Quest's skill sets free roaming upgrading leveling up and you get to kill Zombies what the fudge else would you want to do? Fallout with Zombies

MASH3R HERE AGAIN

Hey peoples i said i would post another quick blog cuz i got bored and i realized i forgot some info.

Has anyone else noticed how great this year is for gaming? MW3, BF3, ME3(BEFORE IT GOT PUSHED TO NEXT YEAR) RAGE, BIOSHOCK INFINITE, BATMAN 2, SKYRIM, DEAD ISLAND and the list goes on.  It seems to me this year that game of the year will come down to the 3's which will win is anyone's geuss but The call of Duty juggernaught franchise is usualy a safe bet but part a me thinks that skyrim can just do it and this is coming form a huge infinity ward fan.

Just recently pictures where posted of the player types in skyrim and they look fudgin sexy; player models 

Jizz worthy or what aye? and rumours you will be able to start a family making it a grown up fable, this my friends is guna be fudgin epic.

More news on the BF3vs MW3 war. It has been announced as seen on ign.com that you will not be able to shoot civilians in BF3 stating that games like these "need to grow up" secretly in comparison to the level in mw2 where you could walk through a terminal shooting hundreds of civilians its fantasy violence get over it. in all fairness if you want to exert even more control over the player be my guest you are just restricting yourselves. the full article here  civillian shooting is very bad.

Which brings me on to my next point, is anyone else really worried about the greediness of EA? after the company bringing in game codes to play online practically rendering trading in annoying and partially obsolete part of me thinks that there not going to stop there. I personally think that EA are going to try bring in separate fees to pay to play an EA game online as well as the already apparent xbox live membership fee. And all it would take is one publishing company to do it before they would all start and then i am afraid to say online gaming would make you make a choice, which game are you willing to pay for to play online if any. I hope this is just me worrying and we wont see the greediness of EA get any bigger.
And more EA bullshit is that they launched a practically un-provoked verbal attack on Activision why? because Activision are doing better than EA :D Why EA feel they have to resort to childish remarks beats me but it will really not be helping their reputation as the most hated game publisher in the world . JUSTIFICATION.

My FURST BLOG EVAR

HEY EVERYONE THE MASH3R HERE

Decided to finally get up off my arse and do something while im working on my channel, well actually now that i think of it im still sitting on my arse, oh well. So lets get to it some general info i learned recently that you might already know.

Firstly i know its old news but im still sad that Bungie have moved to Activision its sad to see them say goodbye to halo their child that they brought up  but things move on and i have no doubts in 343i will do a more than adequate job of bringing the halo franchise to a new level. Ways they will be doing this is in the near future they will be launching a title update which is no easy task. This Tittle Update for people that don't know what it is, is an update that will create gametypes in reach that will remove bloom, fix powers, and even in some gametypes bring in the classic magnum, I personally look forward to this because the halo community has been screaming  for change and now they finally will get it.  Bungie past and future
 Now everyone that knows me knows i love all the halo games and im more than a little bit of a fanboy but anyway lets continue.

My second burst of info is call of duty related treyarch recently posted a video containing a zombie being spun around in some contraption heres the link Random Zombie vid . I think it is safe to say that treyarch have finaly listend to whatever fans they have left and decided to move on to something they are i am ashamed to admit good at. I may be wrong but i have a feeling this is a promo for there next project which will be a zombie based FPS and i am actualy looking forward to it even after the disaster that is Black Ops.

What am i playing right now?? I am playing Bayonetta after recently getting it off a friend my verdict?
Some parts are cool, is graphically really good as are all things using the crytech engine. Personaly and im not sexist as a male i cant gel with a female protagonist who prances around talking in an annoying accent and tryna act sexy. Good game inventive but give me masculine testosterone filled God Of War or Dantes Inferno any MOTHER FUCKING DAY :) That is all for now peeps but i will try keep this updated recently.
